CiT CIT-DARKSOULARGB Editorial Review
The CiT Dark Star Midi Case is a budget-friendly option for those in need of a spacious and functional PC case. With its sleek black design and a side window panel, it has a decent aesthetic appeal. Installing components in the case is relatively easy, although the lack of instructions could be problematic for some users. It comes with a bag of screws, but it is important to note that the screws are not clearly labeled, requiring some guesswork during assembly. The metal used in the case is thin and not of the best quality, but it gets the job done. The case has ample space to accommodate a full-size ATX motherboard and multiple hard drives. However, it is worth mentioning that the SSD drives need additional screws for installation. The case also provides options for additional fans, with the ability to mount one at the top. While the case does come with a built-in RGB fan, the perspex side panel may seem unnecessary for those who do not want flashy LED lights. The front panel is made of cheap plastic, but it appears durable enough to withstand minor impacts. Overall, the CiT Dark Star Midi Case is a solid option for those on a budget who are in need of a spacious and functional PC case. However, it is not without its flaws, such as the lack of clear instructions, cheap materials, and limited cable management options.
