- Married to the Eiffel Tower, set to be released on 18th July 2011. The album includes The Wolfmen's highly regarded 2010 duet with Sinead O'Connor, Jackie, is it my Birthday? the single won massive radio support from the likes of Dermot O'Leary (BBC Radio 2), Don Letts (BBC 6Music) and Lauren Laverne and is heralded by Rolling Stone as rock rage is wrapped in an ethereal halo. It also features a cover of a long lost (and unreleased) Velvet Underground number, remixed with a vibey, almost Primal Scream feel that has the official Lou Reed seal of approval. Marco Pirroni and Chris Constanti-nou formed The Wolfmen in 2005. Marco (guitars) enjoyed extraordinary success with Adam & the Ants and later worked with Siouxsie & the Banshees and Sin+-ad O'Connor. Chris (bass & lead vocals) previously led JackieOnAssid and worked with Adam Ant and Annabella Lwin. Zelig Preston Heyman (Massive Attack, Kate Bush) also features in The Wolfmen on percussion. The Wolfmen's first projects were soundtracks for Bravo TV's acclaimed I Predict a Riot and for two hitherto-silent early 1990 fetish films for the ICA/MoMI's inaugural Fashion in FIlm Festival before the early Wolfmen records were released through Damaged Goods. These included a mixture of limited edition EPs and vinyl singles, all of which sold out and won huge praise from Jonathan Ross (BBC Radio 2), Mark Lamarr (BBC Radio 2) and Phil Jupitus (BBC 6Music). As well as sup-port from BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music and NME Radio the band are also known to for their previous, surprising and strong collaborations - Lou Reed, Daler Mehndi (The biggest selling Indian artist in music history) and a cover of Screaming Jay Hawkins' I Put a Spell on You with the mighty Primal Scream for an Alexander McQueen catwalk show.
