- MARBLELIFE Marble Polish & Neutralizer Duo is designed to polish your stone and neutralize spills before they etch. When stubborn white marks, rings, streaks and spill marks appear on marble, these are generally not dirt ON the marble, but rather the result of damage associated with an acidic spill or inappropriate cleaning with an acid containing cleaner such as vinegar. Marble Polish is engineered to allow you to re-polish light etches, smoothing the roughened surface to allow light to once again reflect true, translating to a restored gloss appearance. If you can see the damage but cannot feel it while swiping over with you finger, this is surface level and can easily be eliminated with this polish. However, if you can easily feel the damage with a swipe over, then it’s a deep mark and you will need professional help. For rough areas that you can feel, this product can help to smoothen the scratches out (think of going from a sharp crevice to a smooth bowl) but can not make the scratch level with the rest of your surface. Other products may claim to fix these issues, but are just going to deposit wax into the scratch and make it appear to be gone until your next clean takes the product off. Marble Polish is designed for small repairs like spots, spills, and cup rings on areas as countertops, vanity tops or table tops. Marble Polish is not designed to polish large areas such as floors. For floors and large areas, professional restoration is needed. Both products are essential during the re-polishing process since our MARBLELIFE Neutralizer will halt the polishing action of the MARBLELIFE Marble Polish. The MARBLELIFE Neutralizer in this set also combats the damaging actions of acidic cleaners and food spills before they can create spots, rings, and spill marks in your marble.
