How do I attach the small hose to the jelly canister?
Answer: It comes with an additional screw top with the hose attached. After mixing the jelly, quickly remove the original lid and replace with the lid containing the tube. Place the other end of the tube in the tank. Don't leave the lid off for too long, though, or you'll lose your CO2. -

Why is the direction here different when it comes to water temp?
Answer: Not quite following your question. Are you talking about the temp needed to make the gel vs the temp needed for the yeast? I followed the instructions and mine is working fine. -

Answer: I posted the same question! I believe the “bio” refill is just dry activated yeast but I am waiting for a reply from the seller to confirm -

Answer: I’ve had mine for almost a month and I think I will need to add more yeast soon. -

Is this fish safe? If there is no regulator, how do you keep from overdosing Co2?
Answer: You need to use it on the appropriate size aquarium, for instance it would not be safe on a 5 gallon but should be fine on a 25 gallon. It really does not produce that much CO2 overall its not as intense as pressurized and if your very worried get a power head or an air stone for more surface agitation. For reference I run two Neo CO2 bottles on a 40 gallon heavily planted tank and all of my fish are fine with the CO2 output overnight. -

Answer: It comes with the yeast refill as well. -

The instructions were followed correctly for setup, but there is no gas production yet. What needs to be done?
Answer: If you followed the instructions and don't see any yeast production double check to make sure the tubing is tight and make sure to use the rubber washer to form a proper seal on the bottle. Without the washer the CO2 is literally leaking out and therefore not going into your tank.
