The Proslat 8ft Heavy Duty Steel ProRack is a two-piece system that can be installed on your garage walls and can support a maximum weight capacity of 800lbs. The 8ft rack comes in two boxes that contain each of the 4ft brackets so each bracket can be installed separately. The ProRack can be mounted to the wall or attached to the Proslat panels using an adapter. Some FAQs mention a bottom shelf modification which is not recommended, and uneven stud placement that requires drilling new holes manually. The package includes 1-inch lag bolts for mounting on your studs. The weight capacity of the product is verified by several reviews. The main installation issues are the directions that could be improved and the need to have an extra person to manoeuvre the rack into position. Stickers supporting the product do not come off easily. You'll need to request the Proslat mounting brackets from the manufacturing company.
