    Answer: I don’t think so. We own a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I purchased the kit and did not get time to hook it up. Been on the road for two weeks and all of our kites seem to work fine by just being hooked up the the RV 7-pin wiring.
  • Question: What does this product do, why is it necessary for a toad?

    Answer: This product is necessary for a toad if your toad brake is mechanically applied. It overrides the turn signal from the coach as the turn signal is triggered from the trailer harness in the coach. When the mechanical brake presses the brake pedal in the toad, the brake switch activates and the turn signal will stay red and will not flash when turning. This can be unsafe and is also illegal. This relay turns your brake switch off when the car ignition is not in the run position, and turns it on when it is in the run position.
  • Question: If you're installing this with an invisibrake system can you just tap into the same power and ground?

    Answer: Yes, you can just tap into the power and ground.
  • Question: Is this required on a 2000 Honda CR-V? Are there instructions?

    Answer: If you press the brakes with the key off and your brake lights go on then you need this. Instructions should be included with the product.
