Biotin 12,000mcg - for Hair, Skin & Nails - 365 Vegan Tablets

Biotin 12,000mcg is marketed as a supplement to promote healthy hair, skin, and nails, and its high dosage of biotin (vitamin B7) can support keratin formation, potentially leading to stronger hair and nails. The vegan tablets make it suitable for individuals following plant-based diets. However, while biotin deficiency can lead to hair loss and skin issues, such deficiencies are rare, and excessive supplementation is unnecessary for most people, as the body only requires about 30mcg daily. Potential drawbacks include the possibility of skin reactions in sensitive individuals and the lack of evidence for efficacy in non-deficient populations. Overall, while the product may provide benefits for those with a deficiency, most consumers can achieve adequate biotin levels through a balanced diet without the need for high-dose supplements.
