Headley Tools 12 x 18 Inch Thickened Self Healing Cutting Mat, A3 Rotary Cutting Sewing Mat for Crafts, Double Sided 5-Ply Cutting Board for Fabric

The Headley Tools 12 x 18 Inch Self Healing Cutting Mat is a versatile tool for crafts, quilting, sewing, and more. The mat is double-sided with a 5-ply Construction and gridded lines for precise cutting and measuring. According to customer feedback, the mat is durable and long-lasting. It is able to withstand regular use without fading or wearing out, although it may show faint paint marks or light score marks from sharp craft knives. The mat is easy to clean with soap and water, and it is not recommended to use solvents such as acetone, as it may strip the print and melt the surface. Customers have also noted that the mat provides a non-slip surface for cutting and crafting. It has a PVC outer layer that gives it similar slide and friction qualities to some durable school mouse mats. Additionally, the mat is suitable for sticking masking tape, although the adhesion may be slightly reduced after being stuck twice. While the mat is not specifically designed for food use, customers have found it useful for sugarcraft and other non-catering related purposes. It is recommended to use specific food boards or silicone mats for catering businesses. The mat is not heat-proof, although it can handle light applications such as using a soldering iron to protect a table. Overall, customers have been highly satisfied with the Headley Tools 12 x 18 Inch Self Healing Cutting Mat. It is seen as a great piece of kit that is essential for crafting and model making. The mat offers clear printing, sharp cutting safety, and excellent value for the price.
