Behringer Studio Headphones HPX4000 Editorial Review
The Behringer HPX4000 DJ headphones offer an excellent sound signature for DJ use, with plenty of bass and a lightweight and comfortable design that allows for extended periods of wear. Despite the appearance of cheap plastics, they still seem to hold up well. The one-sided curled lead provides extra mobility, and the right angled phone jack appears large and strong. However, it is important to note that these headphones may not withstand extreme punishment for professional gigging. Given their current prices, it is unreasonable to expect better performance in comparison to higher-end headphones. Customer feedback seems to be mixed. Some users have experienced issues with the product not working from the first use, while others have complained about the cushion earpiece falling off and wires coming out of place. Some customers have also reported that the left earpiece stopped working quickly. On the other hand, other users have found the sound quality to be decent and have appreciated the well-made cable with both sizes of jacks. Overall, the Behringer HPX4000 DJ headphones can be a good option for DJs on a budget who prioritize sound quality over long-term durability. However, those looking for more reliability and comfort may want to invest in higher-end headphones.
