إجابه: The file is more for fret dressing, not polishing. Try something like Micro Mesh soft touch pads for polishing. They come in various 'grit' from 1500 to 12000. -

إجابه: Hi a crowning file is used to shape the frets back to a dome profile, after they are leveled using a sanding beam or fret file. It will not polish them. The fingerboard protectors are used to put on the board to expose the fret only. One would use fine sanding paper to remove file marks in the fret. Also these can be used to bring frets to a fine polish - I use #0000 wire wool - its messy stuff but the best. I follow up with autosol and a rag - its a metal polishing compound, and brings then up to a fine mirror polish. You can get many fret videos on YouTube describing fret leveling, crowning and polishing. Check out 'Crimson guitars' for tutorials. Ben explains things very well!
