The 1" x 8 TPI Self-Centering 4-Jaw Chuck is a durable and strong chuck that is well worth the money. It performs well and is highly recommended for purchase. However, some users have reported difficulties in tightening the chuck while trying to hold the part in place. Despite this minor issue, the chuck works as intended and is a great addition to a starter mini lathe. It comes with a medium-sized mount, but the company offers options for larger and smaller mounts as well. Overall, this chuck is a nice addition to a lathe and functions very well.
