It is made of an interesting polymer which can be a drawback because it gets gunked up with particles of clothes and will eventually wear out according to the inserts. Some customers find it irritating to the skin and had to put on a sock first before using it, while some find it helpful especially for those with arthritis in their thumb. Though some customers are happy with the product, others find it too expensive when purchasing only one bandage. Nonetheless, it is a convenient and effective self-adhesive bandage.
