Crafted from dense and straight grain Mahogany hardwood, this speargun offers a solid stock with no lamination required, ensuring long-lasting straightness. It is suitable for both entry-level divers and experienced hunters who plan to explore kelp patties, reefs, holes, and the seafloor. The Mahogany Competitor Series Speargun comes in various sizes including #00, #0, #1, #2, #2X, #3, and #3X.
With proper upgrades, the #3 and #3X models have blue water hunting capabilities. Additionally, a rest tab can be added for ease of loading and lower-power shooting around rocks. In its stock Hawaiian setup, this speargun includes a 9/32" Hawaiian Flopper Shaft, 1 wrap of line, and 2 power bands measuring 9/16" (14mm) in diameter. For those seeking more hitting power and longer shots, you can upgrade to 5/8" (16mm) diameter bands, recommended with heavier shafts. Rigged with a 300 lb.
Nylon monofilament shooting line, this speargun offers faster shooting and excellent abrasion resistance. If you require a heavier shaft, a 400 lb. shooting line is also available.
The speargun features a 5" bungee shock cord with a 500 lb. test pigtail swivel, ensuring durability and ease of use.
