This cash drawer is sturdy enough to stack one on top of the other, but it doesn't come with mounting hardware, so sliding is an occurrence if you don't secure it properly. It has a unique key for each register. Using the coin tray is, unfortunately, mandatory, as it cannot be removed from the cash tray.
