رأي أخصائي التغذية
Bag Balm is primarily known as a topical cream for hydrating and soothing dry skin, originally formulated for use on cow udders. It contains lanolin, which is a natural fat derived from sheep wool, and has moisturizing properties. While it does not have direct nutritional benefits since it is not ingested, it can be beneficial for skin health by preventing moisture loss and protecting against irritation. However, some consumers may have sensitivities or allergies to lanolin or other ingredients like parabens and petrolatum, which can be a drawback. It's suitable for various skin types but not a dietary product. Overall, while it may promote skin health, it's essential to consult with healthcare professionals for personal suitability, especially for those with sensitive skin or underlying conditions.
Bag Balm Hand Creams & Lotions 098193000174-2a Editorial Review
Bag Balm - 8 Ounce Tins - 3 Pack is a versatile ointment that stands out for its ability to treat dry and chapped skin effectively, making it a favorite among pet and human users alike. Many reviews highlight how this balm has helped soften dry paws for dogs and ease irritation on sensitive skin areas. A common usage method involves applying it before bed and covering the treated area to enhance absorption, which has proven beneficial for both pets and people. While some users note it can feel a bit greasy initially, the long-lasting moisturizing effects often outweigh this minor drawback. The authentic formula from Vermont is clearly a significant selling point for users who want something effective and reliable.
