The tape that is on it probably won’t stick well when adhering directly to the particle board, as it is fibered. Common sealing materials including paint, varnish, or other hard surface coatings should be used to provide a unified surface for tape bonding. Fast-drying 3M Rubber and Vinyl Spray 80 can also be used to unify the surface and improve the tape bond.Customer reviews are overall positive with several customers stating the product worked well for their homemade deck box and truck cover.
