Designed specifically for 1985-1989 Tuned Port Injected TPI 5.0L & 5.7L V8 engines using the Mass Air Flow system, this harness is the perfect choice for those looking to swap their engine into another vehicle. Originally found in Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette models, these engines were paired with a 200-4R or 700R4 transmission.

The Standalone Harness is not meant to replace the OEM engine wiring but rather to run the designated engine and transmission efficiently. While the harness does not include all the original connections for the original emissions, these separate connections are available (see the specs page for further details). To facilitate an easy installation process, we offer a detailed step-by-step manual along with GM color-coded wires with labels.

In addition to the harness, the following mating parts are required: ECM #1227165, #16198259, or #88999194 for all models, as well as prom #16082183, #16068654, or #1228109 for 1985-1988 engines, and prom #16133467 or #16150500 for 1989 engines.
