About This Item
Introducing the MagBench Workstations MBSS Security Strap Kit Keep your laptop computer securely in place with the MagBench Security Strap. Designed specifically for the MagBench Workstation, this strap provides extra protection to ensure that your laptop will not fall or be pulled off the workstation. Installation is quick and easy.
The kit includes all the necessary hardware and instructions for both the hinged version and molded version of the workstation. For the hinged version, simply remove the two outer back plate hinge screws and replace them with the longer screws provided in the kit. Then, attach the left and right straps over the hinge screws using the lock nuts included.
Tighten everything until snug and flush on the hinge. For the molded version, insert the self-tapping screws through the strap clips and position them over the pre-drilled holes above the bottom magnet. Tighten until snug.
Repeat the process for both the left and right straps. To use the MagBench Security Strap, fold the left side strap over your laptop just below the screen. Then, position the right side strap over the left and press firmly to engage the Velcro closure.
When you need to remove the laptop, simply pull on the pull-tab located on the right side strap. When not in use, you can conveniently store the straps between the front and back panels of the MagBench Workstation and close it securely.
