Although it has a beautiful finish and the interior is immaculate, it has a false reporting of its capacity. The humidifier is dry, and distilled water is fine to use. However, adding a humidification fluid speeds up the seasoning process and aids in keeping the humidor mold-free. The seal between the glass and the wood is very good and does not leak. Some customers have had trouble maintaining the ideal humidity level, but using gel solution, humicare pillow, and spray bottle techniques have helped. Others have recommended using boveda 2-way humidity pouches as they are hassle-free, mess-free, and keep the humidor at a Consistent humidity level. It is important to season the humidor before use; otherwise, the interior cedar in the new humidor will suck all the moisture out of the cigar.
