The STAR BRITE Teak Oil is a top-quality sealer and preserver for tropical woods meant to withstand harsh weather conditions without compromising the natural beauty and shine of wood. Customers recommend applying two light coats on either old or new unsealed wood surfaces, allowing 24 hours between drying times. It penetrates the wood deeper than most oil finishes to highlight the wood grain and needs a top seal varnish coat if the surface is exposed to moisture frequently. Mineral spirits clean the brush between coats, and a cheap one is disposable after usage. The oil is safe on eucalyptus, teak, and all other fine woods. However, one customer did not get a long-lasting shine from the teak oil.
