Sage Blackwood Boys & Men Themed Kids' Books Editorial Review
Jinx by Sage Blackwood is a refreshing and wonderful fantasy novel that combines familiar elements in a captivating way. The story flows easily and the characters are well-developed and full of depth, making them feel real and adding an element of mystery and uncertainty. As Jinx grows and learns, so does the reader, discovering more about himself, magic, trust, love, and friendship. The book weaves together various interesting threads, leaving the reader excited for future installments. Overall, Jinx is a highly enjoyable book in the tradition of Diana Wynne Jones. It has great characters, a fun plot, and touches of humor. While the ending may be slightly muddled, the story and characters are captivating enough to overlook this minor flaw. This novel is an exciting debut, and readers can anticipate more great works from Sage Blackwood in the future.
