Blu-ray Editorial Review
Happy Endings is an under-appreciated and under-rated sitcom that ran from 2011 to 2013. The show is a refreshing change from the formulaic family shows seen on ABC and is well worth a watch. The ensemble cast's performances are excellent, and the writing is both clever and funny. Although season one has a sitcom feel, the show thrives once the punch bag characters of Alex and Dave are created. One minor negative is the overemphasis on the character Penny in season three. Overall, though, it’s an enjoyable comedy that, unfortunately, got canceled too soon.
